Default 2002 Volvo s60 2.4 Turbo Rims *Help*

I own a 2002 volvo s60 2.4turbo, and i have recently bought 20 inch rims to go on it. I have the right lug pattern i just dont know if they will fit without rubbing. Do i need to lift the suspension? or can i just put them on there? has anyone ever put 20s on their s60?

I'd assume you'll run into rubbing issues, and even more so depending on the width of the wheel. Also, even though you have the right bolt pattern, you need to make sure the wheels have the correct hubcentric size rings. To my knowledge there are no "lift kits" for the P2 S60's, so if they don't fit, I really don't know what to tell ya. I'd say, once you get your tires on, throw them on the car and see what happens... I do know 19's will fit on a lowered S60R with the fenders rolled. So you may be able to get away with it.
You're tires are gonna be wicked low profile so I'd be very concerned about destroying the tires and wheels if you hit any pot holes or other road blemishes.

thanks for the help! I do already have new tires on them. So I guess I'll take them down to the local tire center and have them put on and balanced then see what happens!
If anyone has an 02' s60 they have 20s on tho it'd be awesome if you let me kno how you went about it!

The tires already are on the wheels?? If so they're already balanced. Don't waste the money to have a shop do it... just take a few min, and swap the wheels yourself. You'll see right away if they fit after you do one side. And do the front first, it has less clearance then the rears.

just wondering if you can tell anything by just rolling the tire and viewing it beside your car! Because I have done that and the top of the tire hit my fender lol but I didn't kno if that would change after I actually put it on the car.

That's not an accurate test of whether or not they'll fit... The hub will be higher, raising the car up, the tires may be tucked under the fender, ect.. Actually, case in point with my 850R...

Just sitting next to the car..

And now on the car working just fine...

Yep, 18's. I had to slightly roll the front fenders but once I did that, I didn't have a single rubbing issue. And I only had to roll the fenders cause that car has about a 1.75" drop on it. But it's a completely different car then you S60.

I still say, you should jack up the front and put the wheels on there and see how they fit. Only take you 10-15 min.
