Hey Guys,

So long story short my car wouldn't start the other day, it would turn on but immediately turn off. Had it towed to my Volvo specialized mechanic and after 3 days of testing and resetting the ECM twice, he determined that it was a failed ECM in my car.

The dealer of course wants $2000 for parts, labor, and programming.

I located the ECM successfully by myself and found this site ( Repair your ecm or have a rebuilt ecm shipped for free.)

If ordering one from there is that easy, since it comes preprogrammed for my car and VIN, I should just be able to install it in my car, correct?

Only problem is I cant figure out how to remove my ECM. Also I've heard that this company (ECMoutlet) is a scam. Has anybody ever used them?
