Default 2004 S60 driving/foglights

Need help with the factory installed driving lights. The lens are very foggy and need to be cleaned some how. Can the lights be taken apart ? Are the lens made of glass or plastic ? If they are made of plastic I can wet sand and polish out the scratches.
Thanks

Likely a real hard plastic. If the "fog" is inside the light you'll have to get in there and dry it out then stop the leak.

If it's the NORMAL lense outer surface deteriorating, that can be polished. Most people get the restoration kit from a local auto parts store. Some use old school tooth paste.

Thanks for the reply. I used several steps of wet sanding on plastic lens of the headlights on my truck and they turned out looking like new. Hope these turn out the same. Just need to figure out how to remove them from the car now.
