Just bought a 2004 S60 R. I like everything about it, axcept the turn radius (can live with it though) and the phone. Can I just take the phone unit out and replace it with something else, or is it best to leave it in?

 

Volvo makes a storage compartment to replace it with. There used to be a bulletin about it.

 

Thanks for the heads up. I just located one on Ebay. Is it easy to take out the phone unit, or do I need to worry about reprogramming something?

 

Its pretty easy when the radio is removed. No programming needed unless you want to get rid of the message on the dash
