Looking for a car for my daughter, new driver, and I wanted to get the safest car out there... I found a good running, or at least on the test drive, S 60 with 180k miles

The car is clean and looks good to what I have seen out there for the price I was willing to pay.

The car is 4,300 firm.

To all the experts in the forum, if a car was well maintained or just maintained, could the s60 last another 20 - 40k miles?

I know you need to see and hear but I was just wondering if the 2004 S60 is a good Volvo

Does it have a maint. record? Check if it does because its about due for a new timing belt w/c is a must do thing, new PCV, suspension and steering
check up. If it was properly maintained, it could last another 100k miles or more. The tranny should also be flushed. Do your research b4 u buy.

 

04 great car most if not all the issue were fixed .. Trip to dealer just to make sure any and all updates are done .regular maintenance you should be fine for 50k+
