I have a 04 with factory hid and it says it takes d2r bulbs I have found them from 25.00 to $700.00 each. Do they all work the same! I contacted the local police because I wanted purple and they told me I could have up to 6000k bulbs in minnesota.

any help would be appreciated.

Why do you want purple?

Did you know that 4500k-5000k gives you the most lumesn or light output. Anything higher and you loose light output and only gain color.

Also HID bulbs for $25 is pretty cheap. I don't suggest it.
