2005 S60 doesnt start
Hello:
Recently had a local garage replace the starter to attempt to solve an intermittent starting problem (engine would simply not crank) Got the car back and everything was fine for a day and a half. Car suddenly starting running rough and the check engine light came on. Made it home OK and now car will not start. It cranks fine but no sign of any combustion. I checked under the hood for any obvious parts that werent connected correctly but everything seems OK. Any ideas or theories? Motor is 2.4 non-turbo.
Appreciate your help!

Volvo's are finely tuned, higher end cars then most mechanics are used to, sometimes when working on them they unplug something or remove a vacuum line to gain access to the part or any number of things, some simply don't disconnect the battery and even that can cause issues when working on the electrical features of the car.
the easiest thing you can do is unhook the negative end of the battery for 20 minutes, then after the time had passed put your key in position 2 (this is important) before connecting your battery this will reset the computer and it might help. *MIGHT* help
of course I'm not a Volvo expert I just love cars, love working on them and just finished fixing mine today the only shop its ever been to is discount tire and a tint shop lol.
