Hello....first post & not sure if I did this correct or not.... anyway, I was hoping someone could possibly let me know the benefits of upgrading g to the IPD Charge Air Pipe over keeping the factory Pipe....I hope I followed the process for posting correctly and thank you.

The silicone ones? Purely cosmetic. Same ID it seems since it couples right to the preexisting parts. If you go with Snabb or Do88, it has a bigger diameter, also aluminum pipe, so you can get more flow out of the turbo, if its pushing the numbers required to make it worth it.

Not something I would spend ~$380 on that's for sure.

It looks cool - and might make you smile every time you showed off your coool looking pipe to your friends!

And the IPD owners will smile - knowing they got a boatload of cash transferred from your wallet to theirs.

If you want more HP, and more torque you can feel with your butt-dyno - buy a tune, after stage 0 money spent. Hilton makes a good one - Tunes are worth it in my humble opinion, but eye candy under the hood is not.

I have been eying Hilton. Once I throw a high flow exhaust on my S60 2.5T I am getting their stage 2.5 tune with the torque limiter removed until I get the turbo, injectors, and plugs swapped.
