Default 2008 Volvo S60 Rear Defroster Not Working

Hey Everyone,

New owner of a used 2008 Volvo S60 (My 2000 Plymouth Neon broke so this is a huge upgrade). After finding some miscellaneous problems that were mostly 5 minute repairs, I came across the fact that my rear defroster does not work. The light comes on for the button on the climate control panel and yesterday my father and I determined the relay clicks on and off when the button is pressed. The last thing I can think of is a faulty wire or the whole grid has somehow failed, although after looking over the grid it seems to be fine (no obvious damage). I also checked the two 20 A fuses which both are working. Does anyone know how I can access the wiring and test the grid? I looked over this forum but I have yet to find any answers that would be helpful.

Thank you!
-J

Default Found the solution

Turns out the ground wire disconnected from the grid. After fighting to get the solder to stick it seems to be holding well. For anyone who has a similar problem just remove the c-pillar trim and the wires are easy to locate.
