Default 2011 S60 T6: Front Passenger Door Won't Open From the Inside

I just bought my 2011 S60 about 6 weeks ago and my front passenger door won't open from the inside. It lock and unlocks just fine, but when you pull the handle on the inside nothing happens.

First, has anybody else had a similar issue with a brand new car?

Second, this should be covered under warranty correct?

Thanks!

I would certainly hope they would cover under warranty! Have you taken it to your dealer?

I have the same issue on my 2002 S60. Did you ever find out what the problem was?

If you are able to open the door from the outside but not from inside, the cable that pulls on the latch mechanism may have come loose. Open the door, then remove the inner door panel. That should give you a good look at the problem. The cable, if it came loose, just snaps back into place. Check the operation of the inside handle before buttoning it up.
