My son called from school and said his battery was dead. I am going to get a replacement battery. I looked online and found some for use w/o premium radio and some for use w/ premium radio. I think he may have the premium radio, but I am unsure. What is the difference? And will it cause any damage to use either battery? Thanks in advance.

 

Buy the T7 battery. (to match what is already there, versus a H6) If not you (or he) may get a "low battery" message.

You should reset the battery monitor also.

there's a good selection of batteries available - I've shopped at NAPA and went with their upper models since I live in New England plus they offer a very good warranty. You can buy online and pick up at the store - which interestingly gets you an online discount. Last one I installed was in my VW CC and I'm going on year 7.

 

That's a H6 size. You might get low battery messages if you use that one.

Buy a T7 (92) size to prevent that. Maybe walmart has that size.
