Default 2012 S60 door lock

I need to replace the drivers door lock. I removed the door panel. Apposed to seeing the normal vapor barrier, there is a ridged plastic panel which holds the window motor and other electronic parts. This panel is held by 10 bolts on the perimeter. I removed the bolts and the 3 screws on the door edge which go to the lock. The panel is offering a good deal of resistance to removal. There is linkage between the door handle and the lock, this may be the source of resistance but I haven't gained enough space in it to tell. I can pull the bottom out a bit but not the top. Have I missed another fastener. Any suggestions?

I suspect that you will need to remove the door handle from the inner guts.

I'm sure that is true, but I can't access the inside of the door handle and I don't know how to take it off from the outside. I did locate a mechanic that worked for Volvo for 20+ years who said he would do it for $175 apposed to the $550.00 the dealership wanted to charge. Both quotes were labor as I have the part ordered. I'll just use the macanic. Thanks
