2012 Volvo S60 Using Bluetooth GPS and Radio
#1

I got a 2012 S60 WITHOUT Nav so I pair my phone over Bluetooth to receive GPS instruction over the car speakers. It seems that in order to get the voice instruction over the speakers you aren't able to listen to the radio since you have to select media->Bluetooth. Is this true? Why is the GPS Nav different from incoming phone calls in that I will be listening to the radio and it will mute when a call comes in?
Is there any way to listen to the radio and have phone GPS instruction come over the car speakers?

Hey There,
I'm not an expert, but you should be able to do this by setting your phone to play audio as a Bluetooth phone call. When set, the audio instructions should supersede the radio, which then dims to receive the call.
For example, in Google maps using an iPhone, from within Google maps go to settings > Navigation Settings > Play as Bluetooth phone call.
Not sure - but I figure worth a shot.
