Default 2012 Volvo S60 Water in Headlights

Need some assistance. I have a 2012 Volvo S60. The headlights continually get moisture and water inside the headlights either when it rains or when going through a carwash. There has been enough water inside one of the headlights that it would fill up half a coffee cup. To combat this, i remove both headlights and remove the backing and dry it out with a shopvac and fans. This has been an issue for the past year. Any advice is appreciated.

seems like you have a gasket issue. I assume the rubber boot on the back are in place and would think you could pull out the buckets to inspect and see if you can replace the seal strips (Google "Volvo 31323123" and 31323124 for the other side.) Tasca parts shows them for $20 each.

mt6127,
Thanks for the reply. The seal strips seem to be in good working order. After further exploration, I believe the seals between the black backing piece and the headlight itself is not a perfect seal. I have seen a few videos of people using clear epoxy around the perimeter of the seal throughout the whole headlight. They use a very small needle to apply the epoxy to create a better seal. Has anybody tried this?

Seems it would work - I'd look at something rubbery like RTV but same idea. Given you have the buckets out, I'd also opt to put in fresh seal strips as well.
