2016 S60 D4 Manual transmission, turbo lag
Hello! New here.
I've been driving a S60 for a week now.
Model: 2016, D4, 188hp, MANUAL gearbox.
I think I'm experiencing some lag with the turbine.
For example, I'm in the 3rd gear, RPMs at 1500, then I floor it, but the acceleration doesn't really begin for about 1.5-2.5 seconds.
When I have the performance theme set, you can see a needle in the POWER gauge rising somewhat slow. I assume this is some kind of turbine pressure or something? When it reaches a certain threshold, the turbo kicks in and it goes well.
I've noticed this in the first gear too when starting, I've managed to stall a few times because the accelerator seems not responsive enough.
I've been driving this car only for a week, so maybe I'm imagining things? When I bought it, there was a turbine error code, which the seller fixes - it was apparently some kind of tube (vacuum/pressure, something like that) broken for the turbine. Maybe the issue is back?
During the week I did not notice the issue, but last day took it for a longer drive and started getting annoyed with this.
Can you share your experience with the lag? How responsive it should be at 1.5k RPMs?
