Default 2016 S60 very slow to accelerate after idling

I have a 2016 S60 T5 that several times has not accelerated promptly after idling. Specifically, after idling there was no power when the I accelerated for a second or two after which it accelerated normally (including the turbo). The auto shutoff was not engaged and I am pretty sure the hill hold was not engaged. This was scary when making a turn onto a busy road. Any ideas of what might be happening?

Are you flooring it when you are accelerating?

No, I haven't been flooring it when it happens - just trying to accelerate relatively normally. It only happens infrequently. It just feels like there is no response and the only acceleration is due to the engine idle speed.

Oh, alright,I was going to say that alot of cars down shift when pushed to a certain amount, and with my experience takes a little bit to respond. I guess this isn't the case, however.
