2016 S60 R-Design
Hi folks, I just ordered an S60 R-Design from Boston Volvo. I'm looking forward to delivery no later than early March (and likely earlier, assuming a matching vehicle can be located en route or traded from another dealership).
I already have a question, if I may... The MSRP was $51,675 and the invoice price (per the rep) was $49,290. According to this rep, they never sell them below invoice and they instead make their money off of the service business. Boston Volvo has an extensive service department so I can see how they've made significant investments in that part of the business. My question is this: Why, if Volvo never sells below invoice, do sites like Truecar, etc. show prices below what I was told is the invoice price for the same vehicle?
Best,
Damon
