I recently bought a 2017 s60 inscription and absolutely love it... except for the headlights. Whats the most cost effective solution for this? I was reading that if I wanted the xenon headlights that I'd need to make modifications to the car, so if any of you have gone through this whats the total investment?

 

Did it come with halogens?

I don't have experience upgrading lights on a Volvo but you have a few options.

But an HID kit and install it. BUT you have to put them in a housing made for HID's so you don't blind traffic. Not sure if there's an aftermarket headlight housing out there for your model that's made to reflect HID. If not you're looking at a retrofit which can cost 700 - 1k if you don't do it yourself.
Otherwise I'm sure there are LED kits out there as well. Same thing applies to the HID upgrade. Need a housing that's designed to reflect LED lights.
