Does anyone have experience with the Volvo trailer hitch kit for the V60 CC (Part #KIT052). I'm considering using it both for a small travel trailer (not yet owned) and a bike rack (fits 2" receiver).

Will the Volvo hitch kit properly work with a travel trailer that has brakes? Can I use an adapter so the 1.25" receiver will work with my 2" bike rack? Will the 2" ball (#KIT112) allow me to tow a travel trailer?

I just had the retractable hitch installed on my 2021 XC60. There is an issue we have not figured out yet in which the trailer brake lights do not work. Both turn signals work, and the hazard flashers work, but 'no go' on the brake lights. Dealer said it is installed correctly which leads me to believe (1) it was not installed correctly or (2) the part [hitch + wiring assembly] is somehow defective or (3) there is some fundamental problem with the electrical in the car, either in design or some factory problem. Taking back to dealer to diagnose. Yes, I tested multiple U-haul trailers and all had same symptom, and those same trailers work fine on other vehicle.
The retraction feature works nice...but have to get the brake lights working!
BTW, the part provides a 1.25" receiver slot and a removeable separate 2" ball that fits the receiver. Of course you can buy a different size ball (Uhaul or other parts store) or an adapter to take a 2" bike carrier...load limit is 3500 lbs towing.
