3rd Break Light and Steering Wheel Lights not working

Hello fellow Volvo enthusiasts, the 3rd break light has stopped working out of nowhere, any help on how to fix that would be awesome.

Additionally, the button on the steering wheel (right side) for the radio does not light up (sometimes they blink when i turn the steering wheel or when i start up the car). The car is Volvo S60 2012.

I would check for power to the yellow /gray wire at the 3rd brake light, and verify the ground wire was indeed grounding.

If the steering wheel buttons blink on and off when turning the wheel - it's time to remove the air bag and check the wiring to the switches.
