AC automatically turns on?!
Hi, couple days ago i was using AC for some time, and turned it off before turning off the car,and when I unlocked the car,AC turned on automatically, and started to cool cabin. Today,it happened again. Is this some bug,or feature, and could someone explain me how to set it to cool every time when I unlock the car?
I'm not sure about the actual condenser turning back on, but depending on conditions it is normal for the fan to run for a few minutesafter the car is off. Someoneelse can prob elaborate, but I think it has to do withkeeping condesation/mold from building up.
it turns off when car is turned off,but it gets back on when i unlock the car,and then off when i insert the key... I think it is good option, because it cool the car before you get in...
According to my owner's manual... "Approximately 50 minutes after the ignition is turned off, the blower may come on automatically, and run for seven minutes, to remove condensation in the A/C evaporator." You may also have your recirculation button set in timer mode - but again, that would only run when the car is on, as far as I can tell...
