Default Active Bi-Xenon Self leveling

Hello Everyone,
I have a 2007 S60 2.5t FWD and have noticed the headlights were also aimed low on the car. Finally, I did some looking into this and found out about the sensor on the rear driver side suspension. My questions are as follows:

1) How do I know if this sensor is faulty on the suspension or if it's the motor that does the leveling in the headlights? Both headlights are at the same level
2) is this a DIY fix? I've read about having to use Volvo VIDA to recalibrate? Hoping its a plug n play fix

Thanks,
Jim

Have a look at the sensor. Is the arm from the suspension to the fixed point on the body seized? Connector corrosion? Wiring damage?

If both of the headlamps are at the same level then the adjustment motors in the headlamps are likely ok.

Everything is in tact, no corrosion or broken/disconnected parts.
