Hey All - Over the past 2 months my 2007 volvo s60 has occasionally been giving me a notice on my little led message board that says "anti-skid service required".

This little alert comes on every 5 days for about 15 minutes, then turns off and goes away. My car is driving just fine however! I even took my car to Volvo for my regularly schedule maintenance and the alert was not on the message board any longer... They plugged in the computer to read the error code, and nothing was even there! They said that if the code is not on, they have nothing to read!? What the heck!?

So, now i'm kind of at a loss and dont know what to do.

Anyone got any thoughts as to what could be causing this?!

Please let me know!!

My car only has 70K miles on it, and runs like brand new!

 

From 05 and up volvo I've been seeing the anti-skid light on due to a faulty contact reel or swm software. Ask ur local dealer about it . The problem can usually be duplicated if u turn the steering wheel full to the right and then full to the left. If the light turns on then its a faukty contact reel.
