I'm going to be changing the oil today for my mom on her 05 S60 and last time I did it, I forgot to put the splash pan back on after I was done, so I was going to put it on this time. Since I did it, apparently it has fallen over a time or two in their garage and I had the 3 bolts that were actually still attaching it to the car, sitting on top of it. So now, the bolts are likely lost into the abyss of the garage floor.

Anyone happen to know the size so I can go to Ace and get a few bolts so I can re-install the splash pan?

 

Nevermind, found the specs of the bolt on one of the sites that sells Volvo parts oddly enough. Anyways, for future searches for people, the size is m8x1.25x15. I went to Ace and got 6 bolts but 16 was the length instead of 15, for .80 a piece. They were the small head but larger on the flat part that speads out the force, so I didn't have to buy any washers.

 

I know it doesn't help you out since you've solved your problem, but for anyone else needing oddball size bolts, Home Depot and Lowes are awesome for that kind of stuff. I bought some M12 (I think) screws for something else. A bag of four were less than $1.

Thanks for the info! I've only got 3 bolts holding my splash pan on and they're two different sizes.
