For the last few weeks, I’m able to connect to Bluetooth to makes calls but my iPhone music won’t play. Nothing seems to help, including connecting to the usb CarPlay cable. My S60 is a 2019.
The challenge is that I only have Sirius/XM and FM as options. I no longer see usb or iPod as options even after I connect my iPhone to the usb. Was never an issue in the past. I’d connect my phone and pick usb/ipod and it would play.
Got it - have you tried rebooting sensus? On my car holding the button down for 30 seconds does that. (first it goes to cleaning mode, then screen goes black and reboots)
Howdy,
a few things to try to isolate the problem:
1. plug in another ipod/iphone device by USB, see what happens
2. try another bluetooth device, both an iphone and android if you have it available
3. remove your phone from the car's pairing and try again
Possibly relevant anecdote: for a while my phone would play music through the car's telephone call function, with all the awful sound quality that entails. WHen I pressed the end call button, it would switch to the audio functiona and resume with normal quality. Very strange anomaly but I wonder if yours is doing something similar?
But my iPhone will play when I connect the cable to the USB port with the white surround. I feel that my iPhone stopped playing via Bluetooth after I updated the cars firmware. My iPhone shows it’s playing from the car but I have no sound. Tried the info system reset but that didn’t work. I also disconnected the battery for 30 minutes, no change. Any new ideas would be appreciated.

With Android the settings on the phone sometimes get confused, so you might double check them or pair the phone again
