Brake Lights FIXED!!
So, I reviewed several posts on this forum regarding failing brake lights. I've had this same problem for months.
I pulled the relay, RMI5, from the REM in the trunk, and took some fine sandpaper to it. I cleaned it up high and low as it did have some dark burnt look to it in some areas. Plugged er' back in, and they're working great now.
I did the suggested swap first with another relay and didn't get anything. Although I kept reading how people have tried this with no success just to end up and the dealer or repair shop and them say "yes, it was the relay after all". So before you take your car into the shop, try this, it worked for me. YES!!
Now I just need to figure out the surging idle, stuck in park, and jumpy transmission, lol.
