Default Car Sitting a Long Time

Hi all! Am new to this blog and hoping someone can help. I have to leave my 2015 Volvo V60 for 5 weeks. I know the battery will be dead. The dealer suggested that I disable the battery. As this is the original battery (only 13k miles) the dealer thought a trickle battery would drain it anyway. Advice, suggestions? Thx!

Simply disconnect one of the battery terminals after you lock the car. Then use your emergency key to unlock the door, open the hood and reconnect the battery when you return. For most certainly if you leave the battery connected it might be dead when you return.

Make sure that your mechanical/emergency works on the car first.
