Default Cat converter is stuck ('02 S60, non-T)

I bought a replacement catalytic converter, unbolted everything needed to remove the old one, and I can't figure out how to get it to drop out of the car. (The car is up on ramps, with the rear tires on blocks.) It gets stuck one way or the other. It's like it is too big to come out of the available openings. Now what? Has anyone done this and know the secret? Please advise. Thanks!! Ken

Default New cat is in.

With the help of a Senior member pointing out that I would have to remove the right side drive shaft to make clearance to drop the catalytic converter out, the new cat from Eastern Catalytic in PA, is in. I will have to report later if it fixed the P0420 code. Thanks ES6T.
