Check engine light and "below zero" outside temp??
I just got back earlier today from a road trip to Columbus, Ohio. My car ran perfectly all the way there and back without any problems.
Just a little while ago, when I got back into my car after going to the grocery store, the "Check Engine" light was on, and the outside temperature was showing -24. (It's in the upper 50s today. LOL) The outside temperature reading slowly rose as I drove home. The car seemed to be running fine. I shut it off and restarted it, thinking that might actually do something to fix the problem, to no avail.
One more thing to mention. I keep my car unlocked in my garage, and when I went back out there to grab something out of it, the lights didn't flash when I opened the driver's door like they normally do.
The car only has 55k miles on it. Has anyone ever had or heard of these issues before?
