Hi I just got my 2012 S60 T5 and love it. But...noticed that the dash lights/instrument panel stays on. I thought at first it was coming on when I got in. But tonight we got home in our other car and saw the lights were on in the S60. The (new) battery was also dead. My husband disconnected the battery so the lights would turn off. He's now charging the battery.

Any thoughts? Praying it's not the CEM but actually still under 1000 mile warranty from local dealer.

I see I'm getting a lot of looks...any ideas, anyone else had this problem? Will be visiting my mechanic Monday and will post after.

 

I have a 2016 xc60. Have same issue. If I lock vehicle, lights go off. Hope you find the issue for your car and its not big money out of your pocket. I'll be waiting for your feed back. Best wishes.
