Dealership ripping me off?

Dealership ripping me off?
I took my 2001 T5 to the Volvo Dealership to have the “DSTC Service Required” warning checked out. They reported back saying the “Yaw Sensor” is bad and needs to be replaced. The cost after parts, labor, and tax would be $741.78.
They also said that the turbo return gasket and o-ring are bad and need to be replaced for a price of $148.25
Lastly, I told them that the AC Blower Fan would turn on sporadically and that it would blow cold air on full blast even though the car is off. They reported that this is due to the “after flow” feature and is by design. They said they could disable it if I wanted to.
So are these things that could be fixed at a regular mechanic that I trust? Or should I only trust these things in the hands of a Volvo Dealership?
Thanks in advance.

RE: Dealership ripping me off?
Diagnosis sounds reasonable. Parts prices, as per standard Volvo practice, are high. I would buy theparts and do it myself. However, I would think a good independent Volvo shop could do it. There is usually a calibration step to be done after replacing the yaw sensor that would be peculiar for the vehicle that a regular mechanic may not know how to do.
