The 6 CD in dash player says error and won't eject or play, my local Volvo independent specialist says that the mechanism inside the player is defective, has anyone else had the same problem and what would be the cheapest option for repair?

 

how new or old is your car? Cheapest option for repair is to find a used unit on eBay or car-part.com and swap out. I also saw repair services offered on eBay...
