My Volvo 2012 S60 T6 wouldn't start with DSTC temporarily off error. Can some explain what would be the root cause and how could it would be fixed ?

 

Was this a cold start or after a recent hard braking event? According to the owners manual, this error is set when the car senses high brake temperatures. You'd need to get the car scanned (ie via a VIDA DICE system) to determine if there's a sensor issue or a problem in the ABS/Traction Control systems.

 

My car was working fine till Sunday and it was sitting in my parking lot. It was not having any hard braking event or its cold. When I started my car today morning it was not starting. I don't know what was the fault. Maybe, I need to tow my car now.
