Question Engine Cooling Fan fault

Hello!
I have been having a problem with my engine cooling fan, because it was 24/7 spinning on max power. (First time 30 minutes later my colleauge told me the fan is still spinning). I checked the engine and it was cold af while the car was parked in the sun on a warm day. So I unplugged the fan power wires while the car was parked and replugged before using the car. At home plugging them back in the morning the fan started spinning again on max power.
It didn't stop spinning just by unplugging the signal (purple) wire so it was diagnosed as a bad fan control module.
I already ordered a new part but still used the car like this for a few days until today I noticed the fan is not spinning anymore.
The coolant temp was good all the time I checked it regularly. Could it be that the fan motor died from spinning so much?
My new part wont arrive today (its friday) and I need the car for the weekend.

How do I make sure the fan motor went bad or it's still working as intended?
I can't watch videos right now, thats why i am writing here.
