Experience major lag on 2009 S60 2.5
Hey guys, new to the forum. Not as knowledgeable about cars as a lot of you probably are, so I'll apologize in advance for any noob ignorance.
I have driven multiple Volvo's throughout my life. Recently got a certified pre-owned 2009 S60 2.5L T with just 35,000 miles. Car was fantastic for the first 6 months. Turbo very quick to acceleration with the slightest touch on the pedal. Put about 15,000 on it since then.
However, really started noticing a difference in the acceleration the past few months. Car no longer feels "quick" and sensitive to pedal pressure. Engine is making a lot more noise when accelerating. I maintain it well with oil changes, and use premium gas, etc. So, took it to Volvo Las Vegas and tried to explain the situation. They ran their standard diagnostic, and saw nothing wrong with the read. Drove it, said it drove fine. Recommended I do a coolant flush. Did that, no effect.
Took it back to Volvo again, and they told me the same thing. "Nothing wrong, car is perfect." They said the issue was turbo lag. My question is does turbo lag increase over time? What is a normal amount of time for the lag?
Could it be just standard wear and tear on the car? Could it be climate of Vegas? Hoping someone on this forum can shed some light on this, so my sanity is preserved. Thank you!

get new Volvo OEM spark plugs
they tend to go very fast on turbo charged Volvo's
i get 80k miles plugs and swap them out every 20k miles
they are cheap and easy the change and should bring back the umph! that you miss
and no these cars have very very little turbo lag and the only reason it would get worse would be a failing turbo and then you would have much more serious problems.
