Few more questions
So I'm trying to get my car personalized a little bit. I'm still figuring out the different resources (thanks for the great sticky!) and whatnot.
First thing I need is some floor mats. Everything I have seen says that Weathertech is the best. They only have the completely rubber ones though, which just aren't that aesthetically pleasing. Does anyone know of nicer looking alternatives?
I like the elevate ("evolve") mats, but I can't tell if they are going to protect the carpet that much. Does anyone have experience with them?
Are there any other quick ways to personalize these cars a bit? In my Camaro I took off the side molding, got a shorty antenna, etc. I just don't know if there is anything like this for volvos that is easy yet makes a big difference.
Basically... what suggestions do you have for a new owner?
And the back seats... do they have any use? I have my seat pretty far back, but there are only 3 inches of leg room!

For mats, are you talking about rubber/plastic mats to protect the carpet mats from salt/slush/snow? If so, these are great. I ordered a set in October and am so glad I did. They work great and the fit is spot on.

If you need replacement carpet mats, they have those too:

As for modding the exterior, they have custom grilles here:

Obviously, there are different rims, headlight mods, front bumper mods, etc that can be done as well.
The back seats on the S60 are indeed quite useful. I'm 6'1 and still have room for 2 full size adults in the back with comfortable leg room for them and myself. I have a Mk1 (1980) VW Scirocco and my fiance has an Audi TT - now those have useless backseats.
