I have a 2020 V60 CC and in general it is OK though I much preferred my 2011 XC but I digress. I bought the wagon after it was in service through a rental agency and I have found a part on the lower leading edge of the front bumper to be partially free about 1/2 inch on the right edge. The Volvo parts diagram is hard to visualize but it seems to be part #31663906 at VOLVO PARTS COUNTER and is labeled "absorber". This is the spot of contact with parking lot stop blocks or curb contact. I wonder if this part is actually a "sacrificial" part that is commonly replaced. The part costs about $50.00 but more importantly I need guidance as to how to replace the part and reassurance that this is indeed the correct part to order. Several part sites seem to show the wrong part in the blow up views though their over view of the area is correct. Most sites show what appears to be the correct part. Any thoughts on the part and how to replace it would be appreciated.
