Default fuel pump replacement questions

My fuel pump has started to leak at the top, in the circular cavity behind the fittings and I have a couple of questions:

what is the trick for getting the fuel lines off? this has a plastic pump and tank.

is there a trick to getting the hold down ring that holds the pump in place off? or does it just twist off?

What is the easiest way to get the rear seatback out? it looks like it would make the job easier with it out of the way, or should I just work around it?

Thank you

I see that you have a 2003. Does Recall 220 apply to you, or have you had it done?

Volvo recalls over 140K 2001-2005 and 2010 MY vehicles over fuel system issues

You might want to check if you are eligible for a new pump before you start!

Thanks, I did send a copy of that to my local dealer here in South Africa but they offered me nothing but the opportunity to buy the $550 pump from them or buy it and pay them to put it in...makes you appreciate the consumer protection laws and advocacy groups in the US that pressure car makers to stand behind their products. I just have to wait now for the pump to arrive from the US...
