gas cap

Ive got a 2005 s60 ,do I need to buy a gas cap from the dealership for it to be able to pass inspection,are they as picky(vehicle) as the volkswagons ? when it comes having the right gas cap.

they do not like AM gas caps at our dealership during smog inspections
