Heated Seats not Heating
Just bought a 2002 S60 and tried the heated seats yesterday morning. Ambient temp was about 40 F. The LEDs on the switch light up but neither seat seems to get warm. Checked the fuses and they're OK. Looked under the seat and couldn't find any dangling wires.
Any suggestions?
Any suggestions?
I have an 07 S60 and noticed that, while the seat temperature does rise when the switch is on, the heat is less than stellar. After ten minutes or more, I notice a slight warming effect, but not enough for my taste and not nearly as warm as seat heaters I've had in several other car makes. I'm thinking it's just a poorly performing option.

If that's the case, then you have to sit and turn the heater on, it will help.
If that's not the case, then I don't know. sorry
I was indeed siting in the car.
And I know the heated seats in my 855R were pretty wimpy compared to my buddy's Audi. Those are almost dangerous when cranked to full on!
But I'm pretty sure something isn't right with mine. I felt no warmth at all.
