Welcome to the forum.

ECM-4201 is stored if the ECM registers that the rear heated oxygen sensor is switching too quickly.

Possible problems are:
1. Air leakage in the exhaust system.
2. One or more damaged injectors.
3. Damaged catalytic converter.

To check for 1 you should have an exhaust pressure regulator which builds up the pressure in the system. The joints in the exhaust between the cylinder head and the rear oxygen sensor are then sprayed with a soap solution to find out if there is a leak.

The other two are self explanatory.

The SRS code can only be cleared by a dealer as it relates to the airbags etc.

Usually on those cars the 3 way cat code means it needs new injectors.

thanks for the usefull info.

a mechanic told me he could take out the catalyctic converter to get it clean , that it could be that its only dirty inside. Do you think that could help?

bad injectors that sounds expensive , do you have a link to that part to buy them?

thanks

I have never heard of cleaning the cat converter.

You might have to buy the injectors new from a Dealer. I am not sure who sells them aftermarket.

I have done about 100 of these cars with that code and the injectors fixed it. But if it is left to long without being fixed the cat will go bad and need to be replaced as well.

You might have to replace the crash sensor as well. But I would replace the parts and try first. I would say you have a 50/50 chance.
I have seen it go both ways.

i am having this same power deterioration code. however, i had the injectors replaced less than a year ago. the tech hasn't called me back yet to tell me whether it is an issue with the catalytic converter or an air leak. any other questions i should ask when he calls back?
