Question How to install a new radio?

Hi,

I inherited my mom's 2006 S60 with only 40,000 miles and it is such a great car. I am finding a lot of little quirks that do make it more expensive than my previous cars. Currently I am trying to figure out how I can install XM/Sirius radio. Best Buy says it's virtually impossible to find a radio with satellite that can fit in the Volvo dashboard. I guess that makes sense because the stock radio is huge. I purchased one of the XM radios that runs through your FM radio but the reception is crap.

This week I rented an S60 (2013) and, of course, fell in love What a great system and I love the way it has built in XM and I can link my Iphone to it. As a brand new Volvo is not in my future I'm wondering if there is a way to get a replacement for my 2006 that would include such similar features.

If anyone has ideas or has replaced their radio I would appreciate your advice.

Thanks!

Lauri

Check out Crutchfield's website and use their what-fits-my-car option. I suspect there are several models that will fit and have the options you want, but may require an installation kit.

Good Luck
