Default Anti-Skid Saga Continues- with more twists and turns.

My 2004 S60 2.5T has had error messages since I bought it last year. Finally replaced ABS module with a used module. ABS error light is finally off.

Now the Anti-Skid Service Required message is on. Communicated with a guy who is parting out some Volvo's. He seems to be knowledgeable on this issue. He thinks it is the Yaw sensor.

So I took out the passenger seat and found nothing but an empty connector taped to the power seat wiring harness. I'm guessing it goes to a Yaw sensor. No module found. Then I removed the drivers seat. Nope, no module there either. Looks like I bought a car missing this component.

Funny thing is, during the test drive, the ABS light came on. And went off shortly after I bought it. And came back on. Eventually it stayed on. The big question is, why didn't the Anti/Skid service message come on when the ABS message was not lit? Only after I replaced the ABS module did I start getting this Anti/Skid message. Message pops on immediately at startup and never goes away.

I'm hoping a new yaw sensor will solve the issue. Not too happy that it's missing. Now I'm a little worried about the wiring to that sensor. Why would someone ditch this needed part? And again, how was the Anti/Skid message not present when the sensor isn't even there???

Let me know what you guys think. And by the way, disconnect battery before removing power seats. I learned the hard way and now have an SRS Airbag service message on console.
