How to keep S60 for LONG term (150k +)
Hi, have a 2002 S60 with 60K on it now. Wondering what you think besides std. service intervals, regular oil and filter, timing belt at or before 90K, etc. needs to be watched/checked replaced?? I.e., what items have you experienced or know of worth dealing with up to 150K. I will recap this in a separate post for benefit of all. Searched for this but difficult to pin down proper search words. Thanks, Steve
Besides scheduled maintenance, don't abuse her, and listen to her.

Change the transmission fluid at 60-80K miles. Appears that the original Volvo transmission fluid is turning black uncharacteristically early (compared to other vehicles). Save yourself the $3,500 repair that I had to make.
On my 2004 s60 I changed the tranny fluid twice before I traded it. I had 130K on it and ran as good as the day I bought it. I spend 500 bucks on one sensor from 17k to 130k. Not bad!
