Intermittent V60 charging problem
Hi this is my first time on the forum, so please let me know if I am posting in the wrong place. I have a V60 which has a brand new battery (and just been checked running at 105%) only two years old. I have also had the alternator checked and this is running at 14v so no problems there either, however it intermittently decides that after running fine it's not going to turn over at all, no lights and no power what so ever, to the point I went to put diesel in it the other day and it died when I had to turn the car off to fill up, extremely embarrassing, I then jumped it to get it home and it then turned over 5 times before dying again over night and wouldn't start again. I'm now at the dilemma what could be causing the fault today on way to be checked it was showing a warning of "low battery charge" on the dash but checked showed above figures and they are refusing to change it under its 5 year warranty.
If anyone has any ideas or had similar problems as obviously don't want to be handing car to garage with a open cheque book.
Thanks in advance.
