Hello all!

I just purchased my car. Picking it up tomorrow.

I’m a bit concerned about because it was from Ontario. The cars in ON rust quickly because that province uses salt and other chemicals on the road which are known to cause rust.

I’m looking at getting Krown rust coat, but I’ve never purchased a newer car (especially one this expensive) from out of province.

Any advice on mitigating the risk of the car disappearing into rust powder in the next 5-8 years?

I know some of the high end detailers will do a deep clean of the bottom of the car. Then coat it. Do your homework to see who in your areas is well rated as a detailed and does this as a service. I would be afraid to as a dealer to do this. Afraid they would rip me off.
