Wife is tired of the white 850 R and I am looking for an S60 R, probably 2004 - 2007 and looking to spend less than $13k. I really like the Red with the black/blue interior. I also want the spoiler and the body trim kit.

Any advice on anything else I should be looking for?

Kind of like the 2005 since the molding the color of the car, but that's not that big a deal to me.

There is one in Fort Wayne, IN that is exactly what I want and only has 63K on it, but they are asking $17K for it. I told them to give me a call in three weeks or when they are ready to drop the price into the 13's. They came down $400 yesterday.

There is also one in Tampa, FL that they will sell for $11.5K but it does not have the spoiler and body trim and it has 103K on it. I offered them $10K for it, but they said $11.5 is the least they will take.

 

Think I might be getting the one in Tampa, FL. In the process of setting up a pre-purchase inspection right now. Any suggestions on what to tell them to look for?

 

personal I will chose the Red 2006 S60 R,it looks very cool

 

Southern cars are the best to search for, no rust issues and suspensions are tight due to the good roads down here. Do carfax check on the Tampa car to see if it has been a Florida car all its life.

Are you sure you want an AWD S60R and not a FWD T5

 

Oh the wisdom of getting a pre-purchase inpsection. There is no way I am buying the car. It's been wrecked in the front and back and the bumpers don't match the fenders and hood in paint along with the strut tower being off. Sounded like it was in real bad shape. Best $85 I ever spent.
