Low beam failure on 2005 s60r HIDs
So my right side light went out (passenger side). I tried swapping bulbs and that wasn't the issue. When i put the right side in the driver's side it still lights up. So i ruled the bulb out.
I noticed that there was a little bit of water in my passenger's side headlights tho and that the fuse was burnt for the passenger's side headlight. I have no idea what it could be. Could the water inside the headlight shorted the ballast out? I have no clue how water got in there in the first place to be honest. Anyways any help would be much appreciated. I don't feel like going to Volvo dealership and having to pay their ridiculous prices.

oh btw my headlights are the ones that move up and down and not the black housing ones. I dont know if that makes a difference or not. drivers side head light moves up and down and so does the left, but the bulb is just out.
im having the same issue on my 04 r. my mechanic hasnt looked at it yet but theres a transformer or something underneath the headlight. he said if you get too much moisture in the headlight the transformer gets fried. i believe the front bumber has to come off to get to it. good luck!
