Default Low beam failure problem

I have a 2004 s60 2.5t and in the begining of the year I had gone through many pot holes which I had thought were the issue for the low beam bulbs to go out. I have replaced the low beam bulbs twice this year alone. Just the other day the driver side bulb has gone out and I had no road issues and I am concerned that it could be an electrical problem like not grounded or possibly a short and maybe even moisture. I have no idea. Does any one have any feedback please?

Has anyone else experienced this? I am sure Tech is right though. I have not had a problem with my headlights, only everything else.

The Daytime Running Lights keep the low beams on all the time. If you put in high-performance aftermarket bulbs like SilverStar they will burn them up fast since they only last about 1/4 as long as the standard bulb. BTW, you can get bulbs from China for $5 a pair shipped through eBay. I put two in my car in the high beam spots and moved the high beam bulbs over to the low beam spots. The Chinese bulbs are brighter and have whiter light.
