2004 S60 2.5t (52K)
bought new motor mounts from : http://www.ipdusa.com/Volvo-S60. Got them installed myself. Now whole car vibrates like old hunday. tried many different things, nothing changed. 2 extra washers on the top motor mounthelped a little,steering wheel still shakes.
But!!!!!
If I remove top motor mount all vibrationssuddenly disappears. WTF ?
can i ride a car wothout it? car feels like new.

 

Part# 30680770 "Rear Upper Torque Mount Assy (at top rear of engine)" $53.00, Genuine Volvo.

This is the one you need. It is an updated design and should last the life of the car. The aftermarked polyurethane one is too stiff.

 

Maybe IPD sent you the wrong one.

 

No, they have send me the right one!
"2002 v70" was right, the one that i have is too stiff.
I just bought the original part from the dealership. will install it in the next hour, and let you know the result...

 

Ok was just a suggestion because some of the model years have chasiss number breaks for the engine mounts.

 

I just got orgininal part installed.
Just perfect! I love it. $64 VS $26. And get what you paid for.
Called IPD, they had the same problem yesterday with 2004 s60 2.4 no turbo(manual). I already got my money back for their part. Nice... They sad other models had no problem, no vibrationwith this mount. Very strange though.
